Words cannot express my appreciation for driving me to my doctor’s appointment. I had to cancel two appointments because my husband was in the hospital and there was nobody to take me.

Thank you to all the people who carry me to doctor appointments and the ladies in the office who see to it that I have a ride.

We had to postpone my husband’s therapy a few times since we were just not able to coordinate his transportation. It was such a relief when you provided a driver taking my husband home after rehab on the days when I was unable to do so. My husband’s therapy classes have been very successful mainly to the fact that he can fully concentrate on them and does not have to worry how to get back home. The driver could not have been any more helpful or compassionate. Thank you so very much. We are all very fortunate to have the “Needs Council” in our community. We are forever thankful.

I am writing to thank you for all of the help provided to my mother. Particularly the many people who provided transportation for her over the years. You all helped her to remain in her home until her death and she truly appreciated and enjoyed all of you.

I have found another family in the staff and volunteers at the Needs Council. I’ve always been able to support myself but as I get older, it’s much more difficult to do so. They have helped me with utilities and rides to see my doctors. I’m not sure how I would make it without them!

You people are really unbelievable, 37 trips to Kerrville for radiation, 22 miles apart. I said I can't drive and you said, "We Can!" and that's what you have been doing 5 days a week. I love you all and if there can be a "payback"... I'll NEVER FORGET!

Praise the Lord for the Needs Council! You enabled my husband to get to his Austin Doctor and he would not have gotten there without John” (medical transportation driver). Not only was he a safe driver but he was so interesting for my husband to converse with. God bless him and all who serve at the Needs Council.
